    Hey all,

So, I've been wondering if I should get 1920x1200 or 1680x1050. I've just been told a random plethora of crap which makes me think nobody really knows what the hell they're talking about. So, I was wondering if anybody could take a video with FRAPS or some screenshots of a game being run on a 1920x1200 screen at native resolution, and then at a lowered resolution, so I can finally tell the difference? I guess you could also make it a sticky.

Or, if there's a site (couldn't find one) with this, direct me to the link.

    Thanks in advance.

Something else you could try is going to a store and looking for a computer with 1920x1200 as the res and checking yourself. I tihnk generally you won't see that much going on as they are both fairly large resolutions. AA and AF could help some as well.

your telling me. Its killin me to decide between a 1900*1200 screen and a 1680*1050 screen on the np5790, cause I am used to 1280*800 15.4"s. Now, all I want is to play the latest games like crsis, r6v, hour of victory, etc, with a 7950m and i know that usin 1920 wont be possible. and aside from that, with that new package deal from xotic for abour $2150 I can get a 1920*1200 glossy screen for cheaper than a 1680*1050 one.
    So many decisions...
