I went to canirunit.com to see if I could run some new games, and it says I have 1gb on my 8600mGT. I've never seen this before, it's always said 512mb. I haven't upgraded my ram or anything, just my drivers to 171.23. Anyone know what's wrong (I am not complaining lol, 1gb is awesome but I just would hate for it to be inaccurate).

P.S.: I've tried different games to make sure it wasn't just 1 page that says I have 1gb.

Share memory.

TurboCache.. Don't worry, it's not used until required, and it rarely will be, considering the games the 8600 can handle...

Hmm ok, I'll do 3dmark06 for sport to see if turbocache lowers my score of 4996, Ill be back with edit.

1GB. Thats nothing, here's what mine shows.
You really don't see any perfromance increase with "Turbo Cache" enabled as it only "borrows" system memory IF it isn't required by anything else. -
Ditto for my card, Dxdiag report says I have 1774MB graphics memory even though the memory which really counts is the dedicated 256 DDR2.
