    hey evryone i have to question that i need an answer to.

    1. Can the integrated Intel GMA 950 play games Halo for the Macbook 2.16Ghz? I've cheked the compatibility list, but it wasn't there.

    2. Can the Macbook Pro's video card be upgraded?

    1. The min. requirements say that it needs a 32 MB video card. So the GMA 950 should play it decent.

    2. No, but if you are planning to play newer games, take a look at the new Macbook which comes with an 8600GT. That one will play almost any game.

    If that it out of your budget, go for the X3100. It is 1.5x better then the 950GMA. It should play Halo at much higher settings.

    Yes, my old laptop with intel 945gm can play Halo just fine.

    Thanks. Are the settings on the lowest and did you need the UB?

    Great thanks and since the GMA 950 is an integrated card, do you know how much RAM it takes?

    itll play on lowest or medium. i can go on the highest but lags when i mess with dead elites with blood all over it. (hehe, i kind of get random). the ram it will take depends... the default should be 125mb of the ram. but it can take about 225 mb of ram as well when you change settings

    Which Halo? Halo 1 will play on basically any machine bought in the last... 3-5 years? Halo 2 isn't super demanding, but it's still a lot more demanding then Halo 1.
