hi, i have a toshiba x205 w/ 8700mGT and vista home 32-bit. i bought this computer and it came with 2gb of ram and im wondering if its worth getting an extra gig of ram or if it would be pointless. its a core 2 duo at 1.8ghz

i dont want to mess with the laptop unless it will give significant results, otherwise i dont want to take the time or hassle in doing it.

    thanks for any comments

Minor improvements, but it can never hurt. As dirt cheap as RAM is, it's always nice to prepare for the future.

It really depends on what you're doing. If you're not running a lot of apps at once, you won't really notice a difference between 2 and 3 GB.
