    256MB ATI vs 128MB NVIDIA

    I have a choice between these two video cards, to order with an Intel® Pentium Dual Core T2390 Processor and 2GB RAM:

    1) 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 (in a Studio 15)

    2) 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8400M GS (in an Inspiron 1420).

    I don't care about the extra inch. What do you recommend for gaming?

    Definitely the ATI. Plus, with the nVidia fiasco, who knows what could happen? ;)

    3450 is definitely better. not LEAGUES better, but the winner is clear. unrelated to the amount of memory on each chip.
