I need a vbios that is normal MXM, not proprietary, 256mb and 32 (or more) shaders like the following cards:
8600m 8700m, GT (unfortunately GS has 16 shaders)
    9500m GS
    9650m, 9600m GT, GS
    ...etc...
Also maybe GT 120m, 220m, 130m could help.
    Quadro series cards:
    FX 570m, 770m, 1600m, 1700m.

Hopefully someone has a good 256mb Clevo, MSI, Acer, something like that or unbranded MXM 2.1 BIOS for one of these cards?
Also it would probably be good if the RAM was gddr3

Otherwise, what do you think of using VBIOS with too much VRAM such as 512mb bios when the card only has 256mb?

    Thanks.

    I have a spare MSI 9600M GT MXM2.1 typeII, but it's 512MB GDDR3. $130 + shipping. PM me if interested.

    PS.
I have a vBIOS for this card too, if You're interested.

    No sorry.

Do you still have an MSI ATI 4850 MXM 2.1?

    Could work.

People are flashing their GTX 465 (1024mb) with the vbios from GTX 470 (1280mb) cards (I think).

    f this.
I cant even get nvflash to make a log file.

I dont understand how you are supposed to use these commands at all, because you are supposed to type in 2 filenames that could apply to either --save or -L

    see what I mean?

How do you create a log file??

Are you trying to create a backup BIOS?

    Nvflash -b oldbios.rom does that.

Well, I'm trying to do a number of things. But I hadn't heard about that command, so thanks! I'll try it.
The --save command does pretty much the same thing I guess but I dunno.

What I REALLY want to do is get it to create a log file...

Thing is I don't think its a valid EEPROM or NV adapter. Which makes it so I have to use --overide=3 to get it to do anything.
