Whats the performance of the 260.99 drivers? been using 260.63 for about a month now, dealing with bsods every once in awhile waiting for a new driver to come out.

Is the 260.99 another terrible driver?

Personally I find the dev drivers 261.00 the fastest in starcraft 2 at least.

yea I was getting BSODs on a daily basis so i updated to the 260.99 driver in hopes of a fix but no such luck....stick with some of the early version drivers if you are lucky enough to have them still saved

nvidia keeps a large back catalog of their drivers available on their website. Click the "Archived Drivers" link from their download page

With my previous 5 drivers or so, I had many many problems I couldn't stand anymore. The last one was the worst though, frequently my screen would freeze up and then turn completely into a solid color after switching from java applets, to flash videos, to different HTML sites ect...

with 260.99 this is happened once though, after about 3 hours of installing the driver. before it happened much more frequently.

Nout rofl, completely locks my laptop when the GPU downclocks to idle, run perfectly while playing mind you. Still using 197.16s since non of the 200 series works.

The last good driver i found for my GTX260m was NVIDIA Geforce/Ion/Quadro 198.05 WHQL Drivers (MS Update) released, now that i have changed laptops, im runing 263.63 and no issues yet with GTX460m, but i would try older drivers for your 285 SLI, and give some time to nvidia to release more drivers, atm with their new mobile line and GTX580 they are probably maxing drivers for it prerparing for ATI launch of the 6970/6990.

The driver for at least my Macbook Pro 13 320m is the Nvidia 196. runs 7C-10C cooler than 260.

Well I do get freeze ups still, but not as frequently. I guess ill attempt the drivers listed above..

    Still an annoying problem though.
