Hi I have just purchased a tosiba p200 with 2gig ram,2.2 dual core processor and 250 gig hard drive, the graphics are ATI 2600 xt 512.
I run Bioshock quite weel with this card all high settings at good speed but wanted to see some actual reviews of this card versus other cards to see how it rates, can anyone post any links or give opinions on how it performs against competitors, only for the 512 version of this card please.
    thanks

Are you sure you have the HD2600XT, and not the regular HD2600? I don't believe anyone has reviewed the 512mb HD2600XT in depth yet. Would you mind posting some 3dmark06 scores?

Also, to answer your question, the 512mb HD2600XT should perform very well in all modern games, being one of the two fastest DX10 mobile GPU's available. Expect to be able to play up to 1680x1050 resolution with high settings.

The 512 MB should help a lot at higher resolutions. 512 MB of GDDR4 FTW! Yes, GDDR4! I posponed by purchase of a new desktop over a month ago in anticipation of ATI's mid-range. I was supposed to get a Geforce 8600GT for my PC.
