    what is a safe ocing temp for 260m gtx??
    is 85ish okay??

    From what I'm reading around, 105C is the max. Keeping the card under 90C is probably the best to get the longest life from the card, from what others say. I'm not sure what laptop you have but I know most of the asus laptops that have been swapped to the 260 get temps of 85C-95C.

    it should be ok as long as its under load in games.. if at idle its 85c ur in trouble..

    Mine maxes out at about 85-87° C and while testing with Furmark it stops heating @101°C. It usually idles @ 55°C.

    i have a M15x and it idels at about 55°C i ve over clocked it slightly so bit worried about temps i ve seen it go up to high 80s just a little worried that im gona burn out the card.

    Mine idles in the mid forties and maxes out in any game at 86C, with 580/1450/850.

    Furmark might max at mid nineties. OCCT PSU test will... well, I abort after I hit 98C.

    Temperatures in the low 90°C area are just fine.
