    2minute black screen for COD2

    First and foremost. I have Windows Vista on an ASUS G1S. I've had it for about 3 months now and have been playing CoD2 fine on it for that time. Recently(past month or so) whenever i start up CoD2 the screen goes black for roughly 2minutes. During this black screen i cannot alt-tab or do anyhting, music still plays but i cannot do any functions. CoD2 runs fine besides this flaw.

    Any suggestions? i've been putting off reinstalling it because i don't have the discs with me. Thanks in advanced.
