Anyone else having issues installing the 314.07 WHQL drivers? Seems a few people with the Sony F Series Laptops ( https://forums.geforce.com/default/...y-driver-feedback-thread-released-2-18-13-/3/) are getting blank screens during install and then during reboot. Does anyone have a workaround or a piece of software/setting needed somewhere on the computer to avoid this issue? I have been google searching for the past few days but no luck

I have a 330m gt so it should work for me - I am currently using 310.90 GPU drivers - 313.95, 313.96, and 314.07, have all "failed" in the sense of pure black screening before the installation finishes. I leave it for 10 minutes to 2 hours, still a black screen. When you restart, boots up to a black screen. I am so confused and frustrated.

I'm updating auto through the installer just like I have done the past 5 years. Even if I try to install in safe mode, when I restart normally, I get the black screen. Black screen on install (normal), black screen in safe mode. And it seems its specific to Sony Vaio Laptops (F Series) even though the corresponding supported GPUs ARE listed so that's another thing that is very disturbing and annoying about this whole process.

when in safe mode do you use driver sweeper or driver cleaner pro before rebooting.

Yes, same issue. This seems to be prevalent especially amongst F Series Sony Vaio laptops, even though NVIDIA/Geforce's supported GPUs shows our GPUs as being supported.

I have an F23, and quit updating drivers beyond 296.10 . After I had successfully installed the first verde driver, I noticed a significant drop in performance in both benchmarking and gaming, and rolled back. I tried this twice, hoping there may have been some issue with first install. Nope, same results the second time. Strange. I can't complain though, I can game all day long with the 540m oc'd at ~865/1065.
