Here is the gpu the 360 has:
Wtf is Xenos, you say? Well, here is what the Xenos gpu on the 360 is comparable to:
The desktop ATI R600. I am not an ATI guy, so hopefully we can get an ATI guy here, and find out what the R600 is comparable to.

    To none.

You can't compare consoles and computers performance wise. They are totally different things.

If you want 360 quality graphics, look for something around an 8700 GT.

Even though 360/PS3 GPUs are more comparable to last generations high-end PC GPUs, in relation to current mobile cards your looking at either an 8700GT/HD2600XT.

The HD2600XT should be faster than the 8600m GT. The HD2600 is slightly slower than the 8600m GT.

    I believe its 8700mGT > 8600mGT gddr3 > HD2600 gddr3 > 8600mGT GDDR2

So the HD2600XT should be right above the gddr3 8600mGT?

The main thing is that the X360/PS3 are sums of their parts, where they rely on non-traditional boosts even from the different core design to aid in gaming/graphic performance. Graphics chip isn't always the bottleneck or even primary focus.

COD4 scales well and should be very playable if you plasma is 1280x720/1024, but at higher resolutions the GF8700 may choke out sooner because it would actually render the scene at full resolution while the PS3 and X360 usually render at lower res and then upconvert to the higher output resolution.

So unfortunately there's no guarantee that the experience will be the same or better. But considering how well you can tweak the game it should be fine for playing on that geforce once you find the right balance of settings.
Also, remember the fast that the sliders go all the way to the right on the PS3 or X360, but you can't play everything maxed on the PC doesn't mean that it's worse, it may simply mean the options available on the PC may be more stressful (especially in other games that would offer DX10 features not available on the other two).

Funny thing about COD4 on consoles, it runs at 1024x640. what you see on your TV at "720p" or "1080p" is scaled from that resolution. Yes they mask it by using x4 AA, but is still looks and runs better on the 8700m. It even looks better with good performance on my 8600m.

I'm not bothering with the A>B, I was just saying to remember it's not always an equal comparison, so be sure to look into the settings on the two, and basically tweak for whatever works for you on either platform. There's no guarantee that because part A has some better specs than part B it will always perform better.
