I've been looking for a list of games compatible with the rumble-shaking-thingy of the XBox 360 gamepad for PC.

Also, are there mods or tweaks to make games compatible?

I liked the feeling in NFS:Shift, but I can't get it to work on NFS:MW. It's "Rumble: On" on settings, but I cant feel anything.

Are you sure NFS: Most Wanted fully supports (including vibration) Xinput (360 controller = Xinput) gamepads? It may respond to button presses, but vibration/rumble could have been left out (it is EA after all).

For older (read: non-Xinput) games, you can use XBCD360 to modify/hack the original drivers so that your 360 controller becomes a Dinput gamepad for older games. It's quite a nifty tool. It takes a lot of tweaking to get right, however. Plus you will need to make multiple profiles for every game (or emulator) you want to use with it (that's been my experience anyway).

Note: I'm fairly certain that any "Games for Windows" branded game fully supports Xinput devices and their functions (like rumble) as this is an absolute requirement in order for a game to receive the GFW banner.

    Edit: That's a handy link.

I guess I didn't look that hard... thanks!

I believe it does, since I set the trigger button to accelerate, and it differenciates between soft press (slow, progressive acceleration) and full press (burnout).
Also, in the gamepad settings you can choose "Rumble" on or off, but it won't work. Strange.

The Witcher is listed as GFW but has zero support for any 360 controller.

Not all Games for Windows games have support for the 360 controller.

However, all Games for Windows: LIVE games do.

If a game doesn't have either of these brandings, they still may have support for the controller, such as Burnout: Paradise.
