"Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando and Street Fighter IV will start hitting the PC this summer, each with new features, Capcom announced today."
Resident Evil will support NVIDIA's new GeForce 3D vision technology. Playing in 3D will require 3D vision glasses.
(Looks like PS3 isn't the only tech going to 3D games)![]()

This looks very interesting indeed...thanks for the info.

If my eyes don't start bleeding, then awesome!
-
So Street Fighter 4 on the PC will have three new optional graphical shaders to choose from, Bionic Commando supports remappable controls and DX9/DX10 and Resident Evil 5 has support for Nvidia's 3D Glasses, awesome!!!
Kudos Capcom for supporting the PC but also adding extra features instead of giving PC gamers a straight port or worse, a poorly optimized console port. Its great to be able to play PC-exclusive games and console games on the same system. -
ya but you need a monitor with a 120hz refresh rate. i don't really care about the 3d, but when is RE5 coming out?
-
-
so is RE5 coming to pc or not!?
-
Yes it is.
Check the link if everything else in this thread was too much for you to understand. -_- -
awesome, cant wait.
-
Seems like they've learned a valuable lesson from that horrible RE4 PC port.
-
Would this only work on Nvidia cards or is it simply just a 3D Product that will be usable with any GPU?
If you need a 120hz refresh rate montior to play without puking then that kinda sucks. But just wait a year or so and prices will drop.
I once tried 3D gameing with homemade 3d glasses, Fallout 3 was great with it, but too much red/cyan tint couldent really play enjoyably but the 3d effect really immerses you more. Think COD4, or war games, wow. -
But I'm already wearing a spec... cant wait though.
3D Resident Evil 5 coming this summer.
