    Hey.

First: Tried searching, found nothing of value. If I missed anything, please guide me in the right direction and I'll be on my way.

    Now...

Before I started tweaking, I am 99,99% sure (Not 100% sure, that is) that GPU-Z showed me when in windows that the card (8700M GT with Forceware 185.20 drivers) clocked down to 2D settings, 169/338/100.

Now, after tweaking, changing voltages and clocking back and forth - It's always in 3D mode, which for me is 625/1250/799.

    Hmm?

My question - why doesn't my card "gear down" to 2d mode again?
Ofcourse I reset the card to stock mhz and volts.

    No, PowerMizer still enabled.

Could RivaTuner be the one responsible? (Or actually - the one configuring it...)

    If it always happened?

Before I started tweaking, I am 99,99% sure (Not 100% sure, that is) that GPU-Z showed me when in windows that the card (8700M GT with Forceware 185.20 drivers) clocked down to 2D settings, 169/338/100.

Not sure, that is. But I think I saw in GPU-z when the 3d card ran at 169 mhz. Anyone who can confirm this on their computer?

Yeah I recently changed drivers. Changed back, 2 different versions. Same same :(
