well, I use filehippo to get basically everything, it has various programs, such as anti-virus/sypware, audio and video tools, IM applications, browsers and plug-ins(i got firefox from filehippo), firewalls, cd and dvd tools, imaging tools, compression(winrar, 7-zip), developer tools, drivers(catalyst and forceware, also .net framework), cleaning and tweaking(ccleaner, recuva, tweak UI), benchmarking(3dmark & everest), and networking(himachi and realvnc).

It also tells you what each and every program does, and tells about its features.

A very good alternative :D . Most of the programs on filehippo are free :D , if not they have a trial period, unlike a lot of download.com's programs :( .

If you are interested in benchmarking other things besides your GPU then check out these programs/links from the write a notebook review page.

Also you could use wPrime(it replaces superpi) for benchmarking the CPU
Measure your Dual/Multi Core Notebook CPU Speed with wPrime
