Just ran 3DMark05 twice on my MacBook Pro (2GHz, 256MB x1600) and got scores of 2950 and 2961. These seem quite a bit lower than the Acer Travelmate 8200 scores.

Any idea what the GPU clock speed is? Since the Macbook is so thin, Apple might have underclocked the x1600 a little bit to avoid overwhelming the cooling system.

Doesn't the MacBook only have 128mb vram, whereas the Acer has 256?

It can have 256 on the more expensive version.
