I don't know if this question has been asked before but:

Will 3DMark05 be able to install on Vista?
Will 3DMark05 work well on Vista, or is 3DMark06 the only way to go?

See system specs in sig: I would like to test out my new laptop, so I was just wondering what would be the best benchmark to run to see if the laptop is up to par.

    Thanks

This might just be me, but I had to force the 3dmark executable compatibility for XP+SP2, otherwise 3dmark05 would crash while initializing.
And yes I'm using latest version 1.3.0

I can run 3dmark05 and 06 fine in Vista.

    I have similar specs and I get over 2000 3dmarks in 3dmark06
