    Does anyone know why my cpu score in 3dmark11 dropped 1000 points going from windows 7 to 8? Is this normal? I wonder whats causing such a big difference in windows 8. The GPU scores are the same. In 3dmark13, however, the cpu score is higher in windows 8

    There is a thread on Guru3D where is some people saying it happens when using GTX7xx GPU's and latest drivers.

    GPU usage also goes down on W8 when using SLI configuration.

    Mr Fox also noted the exact same thing. It's disappointing, and now Direct X 1.1/1.2 is W8 only we're all gonna have to bend over and take it if you want the exta goodies.

    DirectX 11.1 is available for Win 7 and 11.2 isn't anything of significance.

    The multiplatform games that release on Xbox One will. So I'm guessing that Battlefield 4 will be among the first to do so.

    Some also said they have core parked on W8, didn't even know about it...

    Score jumped and GPU usage too...

    i unparked all my cores, and now in firestrike my physics score went from about 7800 to 9300
