It is telling me I have a NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600 GS. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8600m GT. Any idea why it's telling me that?
Here's a link to my results: http://service.futuremark.com/home.action;jsessionid=6D12FAD18D54AEC33CD86D8325DD62AF
Is that going to effect my performance at all?

The inspiron 1520/1720 are shipping with a 8600M GS 256MB GDDR3 now. The US website didn't get updated for whatever reason
EDIT: Hmm, it was re-updated to the GT in Canada too. When did you buy it? Check with GPU-Z too. -
Yah, rivatuner is telling me I have an 8600m gt. 3Dmark mistake?

download gpu-z it wont lie to you
(atleast it should not)

You have a GT, don't worry about it. 3dmark is not the best at recognizing mobile GPU/CPU's sometimes.

Check it with GPU-Z.
When you've 16 shaders it will be a 8600M GS. With 32 shaders it's a 8600M GT. -

I can tell from the score its a GT, but GPU-Z is still a good program to have handy. It can tell you alot about your card, including fan speed & temps on the sensor tab.

I've got an 8600M GT, and it's telling me that I have a GS. 3DMark bug, nothing more.
