hay i have a E1705 with a centrino duo with 1.63 Ghz and a X1400 clocked to 510/441, a gig of 533 memory and a 60 gig harddrive running at 7200 RPM and when the tests are taking place i'm only getting 1 or 2 FPS wich that is crap cuz i'm getting an average of 28-30 FPS on F.E.A.R with all the mediem settings. Do any of you know what's up with this? Could it just be cuz it is a demo of 3d mark?

It would only be called a benchmark if it sufficently stressed a system. 3DMark is designed to stress even the highest-end graphics cards. 1-2FPS is normal, don't worry about it.

thx, i figured nothing was wrong. Hay i have a thred about this but i figured i can ask on here too. Do you know of a cool pad i can use for an E1705? i need it for cooling for my GPU not for comfort on couch surfing so does anyone know of a really good 2-3 fan notebook cool pad? or even better is there a better GPU fan or heat sink i can put in?

You can't change the notebook's fan/heatsink. I moved your thread on a cooling pad to the Accessories forum.

Well when I run on battery I get higher scores. Around 400 more in 3dmark05 and around 900 more in 3dmark03. Stupid bug, I hate it!

ok, now i need some help. lol. i put on the omega drivers, and i only got a 30 point increase (look at sig). did i do something wrong? is this normal? how come some people get like 100 point increases?

It depends on the GPU as to how much the omegas will help them.
3d mark scores freakishly low?
