Well first off, I wouldn't rely on any performance scores to base your performance on. They are not real world tests so your computer may do worse on 3d06 than someone else's machine but you could have a better machine for real world activities...

Besides that though, I think that you shouldn't worry about a score in the 8000s. It seems like a nice score to me. :)

At stock clocks and with your processor upgrade I would expect your computer to score around 8000 at 1280x800. But since you are running at 1280x1024 which is a higher resolution it would of course be lower (closer to 7K i would guess). Factor in your overclock and your score looks great to me.

I barely broke 7k on my last run with new drivers, but that was at 1280x800, and the stock T5550.

    Same here.

To OP, I think your scores are pretty good at your specs.

Brainer, your SLi 7950GTX's slightly out-score our single 8800m GTS's.

But someday... someday we will rise... (I think I've told you this before)

It really all depends on what res you are running at... so comparing scores at different resolutions is completely pointless...

Very true... I should run it on my LCD TV, but I will wait until the new CPU.

Not really. Computers aren't a competition to me, the only reason I put it in my signature is to help others out with similar systems. I also have a .txt log of my 3DMark06 scores, to compare performance between drivers.

And your 3DMark score is still pretty high, especially for a notebook.

What sucks is when you score great, then upload the scores to Futuremark, and realize you are in the bottom half still. Flaming desktops...
