    3dmark06 Score Lower with 64 bit Vista

    I just ugraded my M1530 to 64 bit Vista. I also upgraded my ram from 3gb to 4gb. I downloaded Pascalles drivers and then ran 3dmark06. To my dismay my score actually went down from what it had been with 32 bit Vista. I had heard that 64 bit was a tad bit faster than 32 bit? I tried both 177.92 and 177.98 64 bit drivers. The scores were about the same. Attached are my scores with 32 bit and 64 bit Vista. The higher score is the 32 bit version. Anyone know why the score is higher with the 32 bit?

    Yes, the cd I had for x64 was already sp1.

    x64 seems faster on my system!
    like "X2P" said try gaming and see if there is a diffrence
