I wanted to stress test my gpu and to check out the temp on it and I heard that you can set 3dmark06 to loop. I ahve a few questions:

    1. I have the 1.10 build that was a FREE download, how do I enable it to loop and to run for a long period of time?

    2. Is it safe to loop it and let it run for 1-4 hours? Willit kill my computer?

    3. Do I have to be there constantly monitoring my computer to make sure it doesnt die?

    Thanks

    1. Uhh...I don't know if you can do that with the free version. I have pro and I have the option to choose a test and set the number of loops.

    2. It should be fine as long as your computer has decent cooling.

    3. It'll die if you've got substandard cooling. I've killed a few cards this way because the case didn't have enough airflow to cool the GPU. Air flow is key. If you are nervous then open up the side of the case and point a fan in there while you are away.
