ROOM WAR

The concept is amazingly simple - fly around a room with your other alien buddies, protecting the stunning Alienware computer system in the corner from attack by the grey aliens.

The action takes place from a cockpit view with an overlaid HUD, you can lock onto the baddies using the right mouse button and shoot them down with the left. Cursor keys control your speed. The first thing that strikes you about this game is its graphical beauty, everything has been meticulously created in 3D, from the Ikea style unit to the guitar to the sofa complete with trousers thrown over the back.

When you start to play the game however you realise that this attention to detail extends beyond just the appearance, for the gameplay itself is silky smooth. Locking onto an alien and chasing him down through the twisting areas of the room, zooming past the orange juice carton, lazers blasting away and pulling up at the last minute over hi-fi system is just a vision to behold. There is no jarring collision detection, you don't die if you hit a wall, you slide around it. There are very few places you can get "stuck" and as you progress through the levels more and more ships appear, lazers flying everywhere as you pilot frantically around trying your best to chase the pesky little aliens as they twist and turn to evade you.

SANTA CLAUS IN TROUBLE

Santa Claus in Trouble is a multilingual(10 languages), 10 level, 3D platform game in which you play Santa and must retreive all the lost Christmas presents and find the way back to your sleigh in order to save Christmas. The in game options consist of music and sound voulume controls, controller type and language. The only thing that this game is lacking is a save game feature. There are three annoying exit screens with ads for their other games, but if you exit by pressing Alt+F4 these will not appear.

ALIEN RACER

Alien Racer was made as an entry for the Dark Basic competition in 2003, in which entrants were supplied with an alien model, and were allowed to create anything they wanted, so long as the alien featured in the game.

The game has three different game modes: normal race against three opponents, time trial, in which you try and achieve the quickest lap, and arcade, in which you have to reach the checkpoints before your time runs out. Alien Racer has been featured on magazine cover CD's in the past and is featured on many other websites.

In the ever-expanding and competitive realm of MMORPGs, Knights Online has a sturdy reputation for offering the most for free. A heavily-populated game, with nearly 300,000 people online when we played, Knights provides a familiar fight-and-quest medieval milieu that encourages interaction with other players but doesn't demand it.
For a free download, the graphics are top-rate. As you acquire weapons and armor, your character's physical appearance changes to reflect both the new implement of death being swung and the new pants you're wearing. The POV changes are fairly smooth and occasionally disorienting for it. There also is a paid upgrade version that opens up a community that allows you to sell items at a higher rate and more power.
The user subscription has another benefit: consistent access. The game is so popular that free players are blocked during peak hours. There are the usual drawbacks of cheaters and complaints about customer support, but the biggest problem we encountered was the installation. On top of the massive install file, we were required to add 13 patches with absolutely no documentation; it was only from the Web site's player forums that we learned about them.
All that being said, it's a fun game that can magically obliterate your free time--and leave you happier for it.

Tables are built up out of Standard components (Plastics, Pegs, Bumpers, Lights etc..) which are placed onto the playfield via the Editor. Objects like Surfaces, Lights and Rubbers are shapeable within the editor and generated real-time when the table is played. Other objects (Bumpers, Flippers, Gates, Triggers, Targets etc..) use pre-made 3d Models (of which there is a nice selection of each type).
The Table logic is scripted in Visual Basic Scripting (via the Microsoft Scripting Technology�s built into Microsoft Windows ). Scripting is designed to be simple but flexible enough to allow a wide vararity of Original Games to be created. Only a limited subset of the Visual Basic Scripting Language is used as a lot of extra functionality is provided by the game engine.

Nexuiz is a 3d FPS deathmatch game project, created online by a team of developers called Alientrap.
Nexuiz is based on the Darkplaces engine. The darkplaces engine is an advanced Quake1 engine developed mainly by Forest "LordHavoc" Hale, who has been working with the Quake1 engine for many years.
A few of Darkplaces main features are Quake3bsp support, realtime lighting and shadowing, new particle effects, advanced menu system, and Md3/Md2 model support. Because Nexuiz is based on the Quake1 engine, its source code along with its content is entirely GPL.
Nexuiz focuses on bringing the FPS back to the basics with quick, lethal battles and balanced weaponry. As of the current release there are 9 weapons and 24 official maps, as well as 15 player models, with an average of 2 skins each.
Nexuiz is primarily multiplayer (though it includes a full single-player campaign, which allows one to play through the various multiplayer game types and maps with bots), and allows for hosting and joining of games. It can also support new gametypes, or whole conversions quickly applied to it (much like Quake). Nexuiz supports most, if not all, Quake modifications (although with varying functionality). Currently there are a few custom mods and maps used.

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is pretty much based on the Michael Jackson movie. Mr. Big has kidnapped the children and has nasty things in store for them, like drugging them and making them slaves. It's up to Michael to use his powers and save his little friends.

Michael Jackson can jump, throw magical stars and dance to counter his opponents as he looks for the hidden children. Stages come in shape of some of Michael Jackson's videos like streets and graveyards. There are also caves and a final showdown in space as a robot.

While your goal is to rescue each level's hidden children before time runs out, you'll have to face a variety of enemies trying to thwart your progress, from mobsters in Club 30, Dobermans on the Street, zombies and ghouls in the Woods, and spiders in the Caverns, to the heavily armed troops in the aptly named Enemy Hideout.

Everything in Michael Jackson's Moonwalker game looks great and colorful. Michael looks good in that white suit, the enemies, though they are the same; they still look good as well. The level design is great. There are different locations in most of the game's stages which are designed nicely. Everything from billiards to parking lots to graveyards, they're all good. All the characters look great, from Michael to Mr. Big's hair itself.
