Good to see beta drivers have dedicated thread
XG 419.09 Vulkan Beta WIN10 x64
As always...
XtremeG released it with modded drivers [Performance + Tweaks] as always
For Laptops/Desktops:-
https://www.reddit.com/r/XtremeG/comments/aszha2/xg_41909_vulkan_beta_win10_x64/
Enjoy
Ok here is what they do on every driver
I got the list from there dead website
http://tweakforce.com by using
http://web.archive.org/
Any more information you want to know.. ask them..XG drivers are tweaked to improve image quality and stability while performance may increase or decrease slightly depending on your system specs. A few XG registry tweaks include mods to the following:
Paletted Textures In Video Memory
Render Quality Flags
Target Flush Count
Texture Clamp Behavior
Texture LOD Bias
Use Cached PCI Mappings
Texture Memory Space
Downloaded Memory Space
Texture Precache
UMA Fast Frame Buffering
Main 3D rendering
Triple Buffering
Here's what I observed comparing between official ones vs XG...
-Less microstutters
-Higher OC Potential (Gives me additional 50 ~ 90 MHz more OC) with the same overvolt (I use +75mv) going higher voltage gives me black screen
-Higher FPS [Not significant-(YMMV)] (due to less stuttering I guess you feel that you are playing at higher frame rate
)
-Less latency per a frame (Means smoothie gameplay)

Are Vulkan drivers separate from DX now? Does this driver also do DX? ...I haven't been paying attention.

Looks like Hitman 2 issue was fixed using dxvk on Linux while Windows 10 version hasn't seen the fix.

It's funny they don't mention Fermi yet the 675M is Fermi.

I'm not sure tbh but they do have a unified driver for desktop and laptops running on Windows x64, my gfx card has been running stable from what I noticed but YMMV like with every system config. Apex Legends will crash from time to time with these driver since they are on the same branch as the newer ones. Stick to 417.71/417.75 if you don't have an RTX card or you plan on playing Apex Legends in the future. Those are the golden drivers from what I noticed until they released the buggy 418> branch.
417.71 - r417_68-4
417.75 - r417_68-5
VK 419.09 - r418_62-6

418.91 - r418_77-6
418.99 - r418_77-7
419.17 - r419_12-3 -
March 1st, 2019 - Windows 419.34, Linux 418.42.02

Fixes intermittent crash on startup with some content on Windows
Fixed a bug which could cause the compiler to crash in some Vulkan games
