    I'm thinking about buying my son a alienware 15x I wanted to know how good this card is thanks.

    As far as I know, 240m GT is a succesor of my 9650m GT card.
    My 9650m GT plays Mass Effect 2 on almost all settings set to very high-high, so I assume, that with 240m GT you will be more than fine.

    For detailed specs on that card wait or a forum tech-ie to give them to you :)

    What's your budget for this M15x? How much room is there for configuration upgrades?

    If your buying an M15X a 240 GT imo would be pointless and poor compared to the 260MGTX. Why would you bother buying an alienware if you put such a comparatively bad card in it that can go in normal laptops?

    So if you can spare the money, 260M GTX is far better.
