can anyone tell me which card is better under the same CPU and Ram

I know 8600 is better but the other one have double memory ??

    I'm considering FZ4000CTO has 512 8400GT and Asus F3SV-X4 has 256mb 8600GS

    thank you.

    Memory doesn't matter. 8600 > 8400.

go for the 8600GS it will give you better performance. 256 mb RAM is enough for all the games (u will also get more from turbocache). 8600 is much better than 8400
