So, my 560M has been refusing to reach it's true potential. I overclocked it to 900/1800/1350, and it went through a whole unigine benchmark/3dmark11, and max temp was 85C. Yet for some reason in BF3, I'll be playing with a solid 40-50fps (medium, no aa), and all of a sudden im getting 9 fps and someone just killed me and I didn't even see them. Then after 30 seconds, magically back to normal. So I opened MSi afterburner onto a second monitor while I was playing. Sure enough, it downclocked to 230/660 (something in the 200s, idk). After about 30 seconds it went back to normal. Is it temps? Should I go back to stock? And even sometimes, I dropped to about 25 fps, and the card has it's normal clocks but the GPU usage drops to a steady 50%. This is incredibly annoying.. I have drivers 306.97. This also happens on L4D2 and WoW. Please let me know why this is happening![]()

I'd suggest you first go back to stock clocks and check again. If the problem still persists, then revert to the earlier drivers. 306.97 came out like a month ago right? Did you start noticing this problem recently or earlier?
