Wish I didn't get optimus but..

I downloaded Super MNC off of Steam a few days ago. When I started playing I got bad FPS, 10-20, and first just tried to reinstall. Unistall and istall leads me to the same problem. So I tried to get the game in the Nvidia control panel to set to the 650m, and couldn't find it under games so unchecked the box -

    Than unchecked -

I selected Super MNC as high performence, and still got 10-20 fps. I than tried clicking "Add" and couldn't find it except for the shortcut so tried to set steam as high performence and got same.

So, any ideas on how to fix this? I have tried to find the file for awhile, if anyone knows where the default location is for steam games that would be very much appreciated, otherwise I'm not sure what the problem is. I can play other games good but this is my first one from Steam.

They were just screen shots of my screen checking and unchecking the box that says "Show only programs listed on this computer" In the Nvidia contro Panel.

Anyone else know how to fix this?

If you went with the defaults when installing Steam, its location should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam" The game folders are located there in the "steamapps\common" subdirectory. Find you game, go to the folder, and the .exe file should be in there. That's the file that needs to be added in the NVIDIA control panel. Also, have you made sure your video drivers are up to date? If not, NVIDIA might have released a profile for the game in question in a newer release.
