    Hi guys,

My friend's Sager NP9130 / P151EM with NVIDIA 670M cannot play any DirectX11 games. The game will freeze/crash sometime before gameplay initiates, during the intro or loading screen. The game will run under DX11 under Integrated Graphics, but not under the 670M. We have uninstalled/reinstalled many NVIDIA drivers, from the oldest to the newest one. We also looked into updating DirectX and getting Windows Updates. He is adamant about not wanting to reformat.

One strange thing is that the games will eventually work if he tries enough times. He has just been booting up the game and restarting when it crashes until it works.

We are working with Saints Row the Third and Dragon Age II. Both work fine under DX9. Any ideas?

[EDIT]: I recreated his issue on my W110ER by installing the latest NVIDIA driver 306.02. I used a System Restore to bring my driver version back to 295.93 and the issue went away. Will let him know tomorrow and see if rolling back that far works for him. (NVIDIA didn't offer drivers that old on their website, so he never rolled back to anything prior to 30x.xx)

Thanks for the offer MrDJ. We were able to find older driver versions already.

Rolling back to 295.93 worked and his games are fine now. It seems NVIDIA's new drivers broke both of our machines for DX11.

Im using 306.02 as well but it seems the GTX 680m is not affected by the same issues.

Get the ones from Clevo's website. They're rock solid for me. I've had nothing but issues with any other drivers I've tried other than the ones from Clevo's or Sager's site.
