I got my laptop a couple of weeks ago, a HP Pavillion DV6 with a 6770M 1 GB GDDR5 Video Card. I have read through a gizillion articles to make sure I overclock my card safely. Now I know how to overclock my card and tools to use.
The problem is that I want to save my OC'd clock speeds to the BIOS, googling a bit I found that I needed to do a BIOS flash which would replace my old Card's BIOS with the one including the settings I want. To do that I need my original BIOS to alter the clock speeds, and to get my original BIOS file I can use overclocking tools such as GPU-z, which I have used, along with Sapphire Trixx, ATITool, ATITrayTools, RBE, ATIFlash (using the -s command in BIOS) and ATIWinFlash All of which reported errors with my Bios, GPU-z couldn't identify my BIOS version and thus couldn't right it to a file, ATIFlash and ATIWinflash reported errors of not being able to get the VBIOS and not being able to read from ROM, respectively, so did all the other tools mentioned. The only place I could find with BIOS my card had was using the CCC throught Hardware Information. I updated the drivers, but still the problem persists. I was probably the golden google user the past couple of days![]()
.... With no success at all. All I ended up with is a whole bunch of crappy tools installed everywhere on the computer.
I would tremondously appreciate someone giving me the BIOS for this card that I can alter using RBE and flash using ATIFlash![]()
Thanks in advance![]()
