What is wrong? I got a Dell inspiron 9300 with a GeForce 6800 2 months ago. Played a couple of games with it, went very well.
I just installed Half-Life II... for some reason, the only 3 choices of resolution I get in the game are 640*480, 800*600 and 1024*768. I want to play in 1440*900, which I always used for other games with great success. What do you think may be wrong??? Is there a way to fix it?

Oh, by the way, can I use the latest drivers from Nvidia (81.98) on my laptop without any problems?
My current drivers are the following (taken from Dell website):

under the screen resoltions, change ur aspect ratio from 4:3 to either 16:9 or 16:10. One of those should fix ur problem.

Thank you, that was the problem. Pretty dumb on my part...
Now let's find a fix for the fact that my girlfriend dumped me while I was trying to make that game work... -
LOOL!!
but back on topic, use the new 83 series, I like them on both of my machines. -
