Hey guys, Just had my clevo p170em arrive!
I have installed a few games but one I'm having issues with is ARMA II Dayz...
Currently I'm getting around 20-30 fps on the high preset with no major noticeable differences if I drop the settings. I'm using the BETA drivers from Nvidea and I have white listed the games.
Any help would be great
Cheers Guys
Edd

download throttle stop from tech inferno. It may help.
-
Does everyone have to use that when playing DayZ?? Im gonna test it now
-
It helped but not by much... I dont see what i've done wrong :S

that mod is heavily CPU bound from my experience. make sure you have the latest version of the game and mod as this lessens the dependency on the CPU. Ive never seen that mod run truly well on anything. At least not the way that something with that level of graphics should run .

Fenryr what kinda fps do you get?
-
Did you set up Throttlestop properly?
Make sure you have version 5.00+: Downloads
Settings like this:
- Set Multiplier checked and set to Turbo
- Disable BD PROCHOT
- Check EIST and C1E
- Click "Turn On"
and bam, there you go.
With ArmA II benchmark at High I got 49-50FPS, Very High was 42-44, and GPU speed didn't matter much. Very much GPU bound: http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...p150em-review-lots-680m-benchmarks.html#arma2 -
Ok lemme try that setup, another thing thats bugging me is every time I install 3dmark 11, once i've clicked the program it doesn't open. It shows in processes for about 30 seconds then disappears, I;ve tried re installing and updating still no luck
