Hey guys, just bought a new Clevo P150HMA (with the 6990M). When I first got it and loaded it up, the VGA driver on the Clevo disk wouldn't work, so they gave me the newest driver. I installed that, and I got terrible FPS (like crysis 2 ultra 15 fps, Mafia 2 ultra 25 fps, Bulletstorm ultra 20 fps - i say ultra for these games, cause I used the notebookcheck ultra settings) and graphics score of 10,000 on 3D Mark Vantage (should be 13,000 at least). I dropped the laptop off back to the producers, and they said that bios component of the graphics card was accidently not updated properly, and that the laptop is now getting 14,000 on 3D Mark Vantage (with their harddrive). I picked up the laptop and tested it again, to receive about 10,000 again for the graphics score. I tried out the games again and got about 27fps Crysis 2, 45fps Mafia 2 and 29 Bulletstorm, which I guess is an improvement. These scores aren't right, are they? I'm going to have to take in my laptop again, I think. Does anyone know what's going on?
Cheers

To be honest, I don't know too much about computers. How do you uninstall ALL old video drivers? What is driver sweeper?

I dont know how a HD 6990m is supposed to perform but my HD 6970m does around 20 to 25 in Crysis 2 (Dx11, High Res Textures and Ultra preset at 1920x1080) when i OC to 850 core and 1100 memory.

Still i want to keep my games at 60fps stable so i tend to play on lower graphic settings. -

And it also matches up to my screens refreshrate perfectly.
Some games that where designed for lower fps (console ports) like Crysis 2 feels like its fast forwarding at 60fps though.
