    7600 64BIT or 128 BIT

    I plan to get an HP DV9xxx series with an nvidia 7600 graphics card.

    I just dont know if im getting the better 128bit or the slower 64bit.

    Can you please help me determine the info, once I check the unit?

    Can I see it in the box or in the OS.... Please help me :rolleyes:

    128bit, that is if you want to run 3D apps!

    Yeah HP doesnt use a go7600 with 64bit AFAIK. Toshiba and Sony did. I think the 64bit version is often called go7600 SE.

    So HP does not release in any of there units a 64bit 7600 dv notebook but rather a 128bit only?

    The HP dv9000t uses 128-bit Go7600s as posted, no worries. :)

    I've only seen Acers and Toshibas with 64-bit Go7600s.

    Have you considered the newer HP dv9500t with the Nvidia 8600M-GS?

    I plan to get just a used dv9207us, for mild to moderate gaming and for watching some dvds :)

    It should be an awesome machine for those purposes and I think you're picking the right machine for the job. :)
