    7600 and 7700 confusion

    i am really confused...
    i see the 7600 go on compal hel80 which says it has 256mb and 7700 on a8js which has 512mb....
    now on googling them i find that 7700 has minor improvement over 7600...
    how so?
    it has double the memory?
    someone clarify please!

    A 7900gs with 256mb is much more powerfull than the 7700, memory is only one factor of determining the power of the card. Check this out.
