    Hi,
    I was just wondering how much of a difference in performance there is in the 7600gs 512 card ddr2(desktop) and the 8600 gt 256 ddr2(mobile). I currently have the 7600 on my desktop and am looking to get a new computer preferebly a notebook.
    any info would be great, thanks

    I find performance on my 8600M GT to be somewhat better than the 7600GT in my desktop (don't quote me on that, I haven't done many comparisons or checked that...). It's definitely faster than a 7600GS though.
