Hey everyone, I'm considering buying a SONY AR. The laptop comes with 2gb ddr2 ram, 2.0ghz core 2 duo, and a 7600gt with 256mb dedicated. What sort of gaming performance can I expect to get from this? Does anyone have screenshots?

    Thanks in advance

The notebook is a good, well built one, but there are many alternatives on the market. Intel has also just released Santa Rosa and nVidia has recently released their mobile 8 series range, which perform well. The Sony if quite an expensive notebook, and you can purchase a very good Santa Rosa system, with a good DX10 graphics card for around the same or less price.

the go 7600gt has performance about the same as the PREVIOUS previous gen top of the line nvidia card, the go 6800 ultra. It's perfectly capable of just about any game, but not always at high settings. U should probably wait to get a different notebook as Zero said because Santa Rosa and the 8-series nvidia cards are out. U might want to find a notebook with a go 8600gt or gts.
