I've recently purchased a Thunderobot GTR. It has 120 Hz screen, GTX 1060 video card and Intel 7700HQ processor, pretty good bang for the buck.
I notice it is so much hotter in iddle status than my older Clevo, Intel 4710HQ, quite equal temperature levels under heavy load though.
I've seen too that in the GTR Intel integrated graphics doesn't seem to work. Tried unsuccessfully installing Intel drivers, but it doesn't seem to be compatible. Don't really understand why.
¿Is it possible to make Intel graphics work in this laptop? How?
Clearly that temp difference comes from the Nvidia gpu not switching off. A lot of battery draining too.

Tried everything I could imagine with no results, manual installation, cleaning registry with DDU, it seems like there wasn't any intel graphics 630 in my laptop.
But it has a i7 7700hq!

Because gsync laptops have intel HD graphics disabled. -
That's the main point...

If I install Nvidia driver it disappears and shows Nvidia video adapter.

Bad thing if it's definitely disabled.
