    hi,

    I am looking at some laptops with the 7800 gtx, I want to be able to play Battlefield 2 on it, I know that it says it doesn't support this card? will this work?

    Where does BF2 say it won't work on the 7800GTX? It's not even gonna list that card, cause it just recently came out...much longer after the game was released(they can't list support for hardware that doesn't exist at the time of the game's release).

    Yes, it'll play the game perfectly fine.

    I'm playing B2 on my Sager 5720 with the 7800GTX. I maxxed out every setting and the game plays very smoothly.

    yes, the game plays very nicely on a 7800gtx, and as tullnd said, the 7800gtx was not out when bf2 was released, so they didnt support something that didnt exist at the time..it DOES work, and it works very well.
