    Hey All,
I have a laptop equipped with a 780m and am considering purchasing an external monitor, mostly for music composition, photoshop, and of course gaming... not the fps kind (for the most part) but games like Dota2 Starcraft2 and other rts games. Ideally I wanted to go big, and this monitor caught my eye:the Benq BL3200pt. But my concern is will my laptop struggle with the 2560x1440 resolution through the mini display port. Would I be better off getting a 1080p monitor instead? Any thoughts are appreciated!

    Thanks!
