I used to have 60fps on WoW even in larger areas now it seems to be struggling to keep at 45fps and drops to 25-30 in a larger area.I oced an oved about a month ago for 3 days, but if I damaged the card it should have should by now, By the way the oc was minor. Any help?
Of course I've already scanned for viruses and defragged.

Do you have anti aliasing on or anisotropic filtering? Under powermizer is it set to conserve battery power or full performance? How did you overlock the card? I tried using some software to do it in windows and it just defaulted the card to a really slow speed for me when I tried to do that even though it was reporting a higher clock speed, I had to use a the bootable iso to do it correctly.

Did you make any driver changes?

What about other games, any slow downs?

Yes both AA and AF are on it's higheset for WoW(but it's been set that way since I've gotten the laptop.) When I did the oc way back then it was with the bootable iso. Drivers are still the default dell. And I don't play any other pc games.

It's possible that your WoW screens have changed with more complex scenes?

Back out and find you a program that lets you do a default benchmark like FEAR or other. Search for like scores on this forum.

If you have an O.C. set too extream, your GS will "slow protect" at 102C. Check your temps, mine are around 78-80C after a couple of hours of game.

ccleaner cleans out every bit of your temporary files, making your pc safe and secure. It's the best protection against spyware, since spyware installs into temp files.

Even if this isn't a spyware problem (or you think it isn't), did you know that normal spyware removers only get rid of about 50% of spyware? Crap Cleaner doesn't get rid of spyware per say, it gets rid of all the crap in your system. It's freeware, don't worry about it. Just try it, it may fix your problem.

Also, remember to only install start menu shortcuts, the other things will slow your pc down :(.

BTW, also download Hijackthis, and post your hijackthis log on the hijackthis forum. See if your browser has been hijacked, and then stop the hijacking.

Going down 15 fps is NOT normal unless you have heavy spyware you aren't aware of or your browser has been hijacked.

This doesn't mean you've been hacked, it just means your browser has been... well, jacked. It's completely screwed by another program, WAY slowing down your pc, and the only way to fix it is to get rid of the program.

One last edit and I'm done. You say you checked for viruses. But have you checked for trojans? Trojans, like rootkits, etc, can **** up your system. Rootkits, esp, get into your kernels and rewrite everything, allowing hackers into your pc, and slowing it down.

There's another freeware program you (And everyone) needs: A-Squared. As long as you install the free version, and as long as you install it correctly (to where it doesn't constantly search for stuff) it won't slow anything down. Just do a scan ever 5 days or so.

Download it, and scan your pc RIGHT NOW, as well as the ccleaner and hijackthis thing. But man, if you got a rootkit, not really much you can do for your pc except reformat... Even if you get rid of it, it's still gonna leave a hole big enough for hackers to get in...

Hum... Unknown ones, question marks, toolbars...

I'd definately post this in the hijackthis forum, they would know a bit more then more about what is on your pc (And I don't wanna mess anything up). But that looks pretty dang suspicious.

I wouldn't erase anything you don't know that it is until they give the signal though.

BTW, hijackthis is a great program. Do a scan every week. if you find something new and you didn't add a program, delete it immediately...
