Is it worth paying 100's of extra monet to get a 10x card with a 8700gt?
Cause i want to be able to play Crysis but laptops with a 7900series cards are faster so i read and even cheaper.
But might i regret for not buying a laptop with an 10x card instead in the future when my aim is to play crysis and half life 2?

Why not get the 8800m GTS then?

The 8700m has more shader power but less memory bandwidth so it will be faster when:
-High amount of shading being done (recent games)
    -Lower than 1280x1024 resolution

The 7950GTX has higher memory bandwidth so it will be faster when:
-playing older games at higher resolutions

The 8800m has both more shader power AND high memory bandwidth making it the best of both worlds. If you can afford an 8800, get it.

    A great high-end card from 2006 vs a great mid-range card from 2007?

If I was buying now, I'd go for a 2008 card like the ones mentioned above.

    * Agreed , Mobility 3870 will Kickass... Especially in CROSSFIRE!!! ooo , Perhaps they will even put both GPU's together on once chip/card, Make the latency between them extremly low , and give it a amazing performance , Heck maybe even QUAD crossfire , If they do two chips on one board...!!

Agreed. That would be an aweful lot of heat, not to mention finding the space for such a setup.

Neither dude. Get the 8800M GTS, in the Gateway FX. ~1350$ . Best bang for the buck in gaming laptops.
