What's the difference between a 7950 GTX and 7950 GT?
-
Laptop: The 7950 GT does not exist.

Are you referring to desktop or notebook video cards? The 7950GT apparently doesn't exist for notebooks. For Nvidia naming purposes the longer the suffix the more powerful the card, especially those with the X at the end since they have the highest memory speeds.
Edit: What Lithus said. -
So the 7950 GTX is just a better version of the 7950 GT that is only available for notebooks and it's better?
-
no it's not better. 7950 GTX is just the best version of Go 7 series for notebook. the desktop counterpart is usually more powerful.
-
Actually, the 7950GTX (notebook version) is a little better than the 7950GT (desktop version) having just a bit higher clock speeds...
-
the "go 7900GTX" (notebook) pretty equals a desktop 7950GT. The "7950GTX" (notebook) is an OC'ed "go 7900GTX" (notebook).
That's all.
