I am eyeing that Sager 5760 and have the option for those two cards. There is a $100 difference between the two. I am wondering if the performance increase justifies the extra money. I saw the chart stickied but I dont' understand the tech terms. Thanks!

Big difference! Go with the 7950 cause the 7800 has heating problems plus look into Meaker's chart for more details!

there is a big difference in the clock speeds. the 7950 should really outperform the 7800.

    about 20-25% in performance.

I have the 7800GTX, it still works fine on all games with high settings. :)

I'd say a $100 upgrade to the Go7950GTX is worth it without a doubt. The Go7950GTX also has double the video memory.

I agree with Chaz, because if I had the choice, I would go for the 512mb 7950GTX, but I got my 7800GTX back in March 2006, which was the best... which only lasted for about 3 months until the 7900GTX was released.
