The laptops that I know of thus far are the Alienware models, the Samsung 7 Series gaming laptop (both at or above ~1800 us), and the Clevo lines. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones I've been researching. The p150em seems to be the cheapest so far and wouldn't be a bad choice.

I stand corrected. The p150em still should be cheaper, though.

Right, P150EM will be cheaper but the Alienware will be available sooner. P150EM with 7970M is expected end of may/early june.

Just fiddling on the Dell/Alienware site. When I select the AMD 7970M, it says that the preliminary ship date is May 24, which is the same as a lot of Sager resellers' sites. Where have people been finding the faster Alienware ship dates? Oh Alienware, the 7970M is also $150 cheaper on the M17x.

I think all the preorders etc cleaned them out.

BTW, Alienware products are just horrible looking(in my opinion), I prefer the grown up/ stealth look of a Clevo by far.

Ya, I definitely agree. I'd prefer to have a more subtle look to my laptop.
