    Ok I'll keep this short.
    If you meet these conditions:

    - using a laptop cooler powered by USB port
    - if you set your clocks with AB and leave it running
    - if you have ThrottleStop running and turned on;

I've observed, althought I'm far to say it works for whatever reason (just played 25 min of BF3) that the conjunction of MSI AB (running, with OSD) and TS makes my system unstable with certain clocks.
So what I did after a few reboots, having the usual instability, was to close TS (better not open it at all) and set clocks via AB BUT closing it after your clocks has been loaded.
I was able to stay stable for that period of time at 930/1400 which wasn't after a few minutes before.
For the record I'm stable at 900/1500 with both AB running and TS.

If both programs, but I think MSI AB is somewhat the culprit here, create some sort of instability with gpu driver, that could be a solution to the OC problems related to 12.7.

So what you need to do is (to recreate my conditions):

    - unplug your USB powered laptop cooler and use an external power source for it (I've used the iPhone charger and works fine)
    - be sure TS is not in auto run
    - be sure MSI AB is not in auto run or doesn't set clock automatically on boot

    Then:

    - Open MSI AB, set your PREVIOUSLY UNSTABLE clocks, then when you're sure those are working, close it afterward

Try to game a bit now.
    Please people understand that:
    - this is mostly a placebo
    - my laptop is weird
    - use common sense when ocing, do not expect to have the card running at 1000/1500 magically

Also if you use or don't use/run or don't run MSI AB and related programs I listed please post it. I know there are some people who don't keep OSD or AB running at all, just fraps.
That's all. I guess trying doesn't hurt since it doesn't require additional stuff.
If you feel to contribute please post it here.
    Thanks :)

why do you want the USB-powered laptop cooler to be unplugged?

Because it drains more power than it should, I've tested this with other systems and people and it makes somewhat the system more stable.
Anyway it's not a rule, your mileage may vary, it's just to be on the safe side.
