So, unwrapped my brand new xmg 304p (w230ss clevo) out my ssd in, all that, all happy, until nvidia drivers came along... it wont detect the card, seems theres only 820m in the list, tried editing them as per tut for editing listdevices and one of nv inf files, i replaced a few entries but still no go... anyone got a guide or edited drivers that work? :/ super sad. spent over an hour fiddling with the files...

Nvidia are always slow (1-2) months to get support going for mobile. Try using a modded inf.

managed to edit inf of drivers not from nvidia, but they're 311.54... ones i got from nvidia i can't seem to edit the files properly/editing wrong ones, ill try to just go mad and change all values for a card to nvidia or something. such a pain :/

edit: nope wont let me use my 860m. damn this scks. http://gyazo.com/dade470d2db361ce9856eb3c5d406700

could it be due to the new architecture or something?

Ahhh yes... back when I first got my 650M it was several months before official driver support. And the thing had already been out for about a month before I got my hands on it! NVIDIA like to release things out into the wild and then promptly forget about them for a while. Still no sign of mobile ShadowPlay - stop delaying things NVIDIA!!!

It's either a modded INF or a Clevo driver at the moment I'm afraid.

Something tells me that the next beta will have support though. I'd be VERY surprised if it didn't. Half of the 800M are Kepler, so I can't see them not getting support in the next driver.

Well it got me well confused... Never had an issue like this. Now I'll know, just baffles me, all they need to do is edit the compatibility list in setup... I'll try to fiddle with latest some, see if I can get shadow play and all that on board.

I'm even more baffled... Asking end users to give details about video cards they make... It's as difficult as editing the supported list of devices as clearly drivers themselves work fine... I know ATI drivers are a bit of a pain, didn't expect nVidia to be so half witted... I've checked the supported cards, there's few variations of them, but it can't be that difficult can it...
