    8400 gs and oblivion.... can anyone tell me how it will run?

    i just want to know how obv will run on the new comp i just bought its a dv6500t from hp with a t7300 and 2gb ram i was wondering if anyone had anything similar or with just the 8400 and had a number for the framerates i would be getting for it on diff settings

    You'll be able to run it pretty well. Judging by other posts where people have said that the 7600 Go is a nice card for Oblivion, and seeing as the 8400GS is superior to that (I think), you should be able to run at medium/high settings at a medium/high resolution.

    8400gs isn't superior to the 7600 in synthetic benches

    the 64 bit bus will limit its performance greatly compared to the 7600's 128 bit bus
